With more than twenty years of experience in computer science, network administration, and IT management, Timothy Acquah is a highly qualified and seasoned IT specialist. He has held important positions in the financial and educational sectors throughout his career, demonstrating his adaptability and leadership in technologically advanced settings. Timothy has a solid academic background, numerous qualifications, and a proven track record of innovating, managing intricate systems, and producing top-notch IT solutions.
Highlights of Timothy’s career include his
leadership roles as Country Director at Transfast Money Transfer and Small World Money Transfer, where he oversaw operations and made sure that services were delivered without a hitch. In his previous role as Express Funds International’s IT Manager, he played a key role in starting the business’s IT division from scratch. Among his duties were overseeing system migrations, creating and executing IT policies, and making sure that disaster recovery procedures were sound. He is a well-rounded IT specialist with practical knowledge in server configuration, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
Timothy has a wide range of technical skills, such as expertise in WAN/LAN configurations, fiber optic installation, and Oracle database administration. He is skilled in creating technical solutions for enterprise and small office/home office (SOHO) settings. He is also capable of installing electrical systems, fixing gear, and setting up multimedia networks. He also has a great deal of expertise setting up Wi-Fi networks for educational institutions, installing CCTV and access control systems, and maintaining Linux and Microsoft server environments.
